Ever since I had my daughter almost two years ago I have put a lot of focus on eating as healthy as I can. Some days eating healthy doesn’t always go as planned. I do have a very large sweet tooth. I enjoy eating chocolate, donuts, candy, and well anything that has sugar. One day I was craving sweets so bad but didn’t want all the calories. I came up with a healthier version of a banana split. Its so good and helps curve my sweet cravings.
As I am not a big ice cream eater, I found an ingredient that I can use to replace it. In my version of a banana split I use:
- Danon Light and Fit vanilla Greek yogurt.
- Then I add one banana ( you can use as many as desired)
- cut up strawberries, and blackberries. I normally add pineapple to it as well, but I didn’t have any at the time. It also tastes good with blueberries, and raspberries
- Then I top it with a small handful of dark chocolate chips
