Sweet Tooth

banana split2

Ever since I had my daughter almost two years ago I have put a lot of focus on eating as healthy as I can. Some days eating healthy doesn’t always go as planned. I do have a very large sweet tooth. I enjoy eating chocolate, donuts, candy, and well anything that has sugar. One day I was craving sweets so bad but didn’t want all the calories. I came up with a healthier version of a banana split. Its so good and helps curve my sweet cravings.

As I am not a big ice cream eater, I found an ingredient that I can use to replace it. In my version of a banana split I use:

  • Danon Light and Fit vanilla Greek yogurt.
  • Then I add one banana ( you can use as many as desired)
  • cut up strawberries, and blackberries. I normally add pineapple to it as well, but I didn’t have any at the time. It also tastes good with blueberries, and raspberries
  • Then I top it with a small handful of dark chocolate chips

Let me know if you try this recipe and how you like it! If you have any great recipes to share you can let me know in the comments 🙂
