My Morning Routine


Good afternoon! I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday. As I was laying in bed this morning, not wanting to open my eyes I thought about what to write about. I know its been a few days since my last post, I have been a little busy these past few weeks. I thought, why not share my morning routine.

I am not a morning person, and have never really been one. I’m more of a night owl, well since I had my daughter I’m not really either of the two. My daughter wakes me up between 6:45 am and 8:30 am. Sometimes she wakes up crazy early and sometimes she sleeps in, which is always nice for me.

clockOnce we are awake, we go downstairs to let our dog Bruno out.

brunoHe loves to play and chase the cats first chance he gets.

Once Bruno is outside, Riley and I begin making breakfast and coffee. She loves to help me which is always nice! She will hand me the coffee grounds and puts them away for me.

cup Once the coffee is being made, we sit down and enjoy our breakfast. Most of the time we eat some type of oats. I really love overnight oats, which I wrote about a few posts ago. Otherwise we will make eggs and toast.

After breakfast we sit on the couch for some cuddles and a little tv time. Tv time is usually about 5 minutes, because Riley loves to sit down and color or go play with her other toys.


While she is coloring I sit with her and will check up on some of my social media. I like to respond to any comments and I love checking out Instagram. If you want to check out my page my name is Angandmae. If you have Instagram you can leave your name in the comments and I can go check it out!

  1. Since I have the summers off, my morning routine has consisted of me sleeping in, browsing online for a bit before making a breakfast smoothie and then heading to the gym! I like to take Chutney my fur baby for walks, head to a coffee shop or get some errands done around the house.

  2. Mine is pretty simple. Wake up, lay in bed for about 15 minutes with a mixture of still trying to wake up or checking my phone. Then off to brushing my teeth, washing my face then off to work. I’m more of a night owl, and keep my morning duties to a minimal haha
