January Favorites

Hello everyone! Can you believe it is the end of January? It feels like it was just Christmas and New Years. It is so crazy how time just flies by. Today has been a very long day with me and my little bug. She decided today that she didn’t want to listen to me which is always frustrating. I’m sure all you parents out there know how I feel. I also tried to put my lemonade carton in the cupboard, I think I’m losing it. 

Anyways, I thought it was a perfect idea to talk about my favorite items of the month. So let’s get started!

I have been using this skincare combo the past couple of weeks, and I have noticed a bit of a difference. I have had some nasty breakouts, those who say you only get them in Highschool were lying. I actually have worse skin now than I did back then. Anyways, I have been loving the Fresh Soy Cleanser. It is so gentle and doesn’t have a harsh scent. It leaves my skin super smooth and my breakouts are clearing up. The only sad thing is my tube is almost empty 😦  

I have continued to use my First Aid Beauty Daily Moisturizer and I still love it. If you’ve read some of my past favorites or empties you know this is my holy grail moisturizer. 

I don’t wear makeup like I used, now that I’m a mom I’m just too tired to put it on. So when I do decide to paint my face with my favorite makeup, I love using this palette. I love doing a neutral eye look and I always reach for this. It is the Naked Basics 2 and it has such amazing shades. I love how pigmented they are. They also blend beautifully, so if you are like me and struggle sometimes these are great. 

I am and will always be obsessed with the Batiste dry shampoo. I pretty much always go with the original scent, it just has such a clean and light smell. It’s not overpowering at all. I only wash my hair a couple times a week, so this is my life savor. 

With it being winter I am always bundled up, even in the house. I have been living for this chunky knit cardigan. It is the perfect color, and it is so comfortable. I got this at Forever 21 in the beginning of the month. I think my hubby is pretty sick of seeing it. I wear it with a long shirt underneath and a pair of black leggings. 

I don’t have a picture, but black leggings have also been a favorite. They are perfect when pairing them with cozy sweaters and boots. I don’t have a favorite pair at the moment, but the one pair I’d recommend is from Vanity. They are comfy, they don’t dig into your skin and they are well priced. If you have a holy grail, can’t live without pair let me know!

Last but not least, I am obsessed with avocado toast. It is my absolute favorite thing to eat for breakfast. If I could have it every single day, I totally would. I don’t get to buy them as often since they have become a bit pricey.
