Hello everyone! I want to say thank you so much for all the kind words from my last post. It means so much to me. I’m very excited to post updates on this pregnancy, so if anyone wants me to talk about anything specific please let me know!
Aright today I have one of my favorite recipes to make. I love using chia seeds. They have so many health benefits, they provide omega 3s, protein and the list goes on. If you’d like I can do a post just about chia seeds and there amazingness.
I use them for so many things, one of my favorites is making Chia Seed Pudding. It is delicious and very filling.
This recipe is very simple, which is part of the reason I love it. So let’s get into it:
You will need
- 1 cup of milk (whatever milk you like, coconut milk, almond milk, regular milk)
- 3 tablespoons of chia seeds
Now you can use more chia seeds and more milk to make a bigger batch. I just prefer the consistency of this ratio. I always use mason jars while making these, you may use a sealed container of your choice.
All you do is mix them together, leave them in your fridge overnight.
Add your favorite toppings,
- Peanut butter
- Cocoa powder
- Bananas
- Granola
- Chocolate chips
- Coconut flakes
- Berries
The list can go on! Whatever you like add it! I know some people mix in Tumeric for the extra health benefits, I haven’t tried it yet but I’ll let you all know what I think when I do.
One thing I love doing with chia pudding is adding it to my breakfast such as oatmeal or overnight oats. It gives you a little extra and keeps you full for much longer.
I hope you all enjoy this recipe, if you try it let me know what you think!
Thank you all so much for reading, have a wonderful week!!
I love Chia seeds, my favorite topping is peanut butter and nuts !!!

I really want to try using these! How would you describe the taste/texture? What is it similar to? X

Chia seeds don’t really have a taste, but when you add them to liquid they form a gel like substance. I would say they are similar in texture to tapioca pudding but you can add whatever flavor you’d like with it. I hope this helps!

I also love (more like obsessed) chia seeds. I use coconut milk for my chia puddings and love to add raw cacao and cinnamon. Baked these really nice chia cups (only added cinnamon and eggs) in my cake pop maker. So you can snack on them during the day.
