Hey hey everyone happy Friday (I totally thought yesterday was Friday). I’m so sorry I haven’t posted much the past month. With getting prepped for the little man to be here and then him being here we have just been so busy! Mico is already over 2 weeks old and I can’t believe it! He’s growing so fast and is already over 10 lbs, it’s crazy!
For today I thought I’d share a few of my recent ( recent as in the last month or two) purchases. If you know me on a personal level you would know that I have a shopping addiction. I just can’t stop myself, and now that I have kids I just want to buy them everything. It’s becoming a problem. Alright, let’s dive in and see the random things that I have bought.
I have been on the hunt for a color corrector because the dark circles are getting out of control. I didn’t want to spend to much money right away just in case it doesn’t work. So I found this Maybelline coverstick at Walmart for I think under $5. I’ve used it a couple of times and I’m not sure if it’s right for me. I do already have fine lines under my eyes (only 26 and have lines… not cool!) and I found this was a little heavy and settled right on in them. I’m still on the hunt for a good dark circle corrector if anyone has suggestions!
Alright I’m sure you have all heard about this mascara. This is the L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara. This has been compared to the Better Than Sex mascara by TooFaced which I have never tried so I can’t compare them. I am in love with this mascara. It is amazing and I wrote a review a month or so ago on it. It has the best formula and actually makes my lashes look good! So run and go get yourself one.
I have been on the search for a new daily moisturizer with SPF since the one I currently have doesn’t have any. I found this at Sephora and figured I’d give it a try. I haven’t gotten around to using it as my other one hasn’t run out yet, but I will do a post once I try it. If you have used this moisturizer, what do you think of it?
Alright let’s talk active wear. I have a slight obsession with buying and wearing workout clothing. I follow Ashy Bines on social media and have done her booty program. In the last year she came out with her own active wear line and I had to buy some ( see I have a problem). She has limited time collections and her first collection she released was pastel colors. I love pastel colors and can’t get enough so I bought 2 items that I can’t wait to wear and talk about.
This tank top is called The Jess. She named t after one of her friends. I love the style and shape of this top. This is also my favorite color, Peach. It is absolutely stunning but the picture doesn’t do it justice. It is bright and just beautiful. I love the little heart detail with her Initials. I think it is adorable. I haven’t been able to wear this as I was pregnant when I ordered it and I have not lost all the baby weight yet.
This jacket is called Hoodie On Fleek and of course I had to buy it in Peach. I almost didn’t get one because she has such a large following and it sold out right away. Luckily I was able to snatch one up last minute.
I love this jacket. It is such a nice material, it keeps you warm and is very comfortable. It fits me a little snug right now, but I’m hoping soon for it to be the perfect fit. This also has the adorable heart and initial details. I also like that they have the thumb holes on the sleeves.
