Monday’s motivation

Hey everyone happy Monday night! If today was hell for you pour a glass of wine, sit back and get excited because it’s the night time and hopefully your little ones are sleeping!

Today has been stressful with a non listening 3 year old and a slightly grumpy 4 month old. Whooo am I glad they are sleeping ( just over here having a silent dance party). How was everyone’s weekend?

Today is week 7 of my healthy journey and I am SO happy with my results so far. I am down another pound and I have lost another 2.75 inches. For me that is a huge deal and I am ecstatic. I have had some rough days, but that’s ok because I didn’t beat myself up about it I just made sure to do better the next day.

There have been many days, seriously almost everyday, where I haven’t wanted to workout. I get so exhausted with chasing my littles and this week I’ve been sick, but I still force myself to get in something. It doesn’t have to be an hour long. Some of he best workouts can be done in 20-30 minutes. I have found if I don’t have a ton of time or energy I play some music and dance around with my toddler. She loves doing that.

I love being able to go on walks and it helps the little one burn off some energy. One of my favorite YouTube channels is Tone It Up. If you haven’t tried their workouts I highly recommend it. These ladies are amazing and they have great recipes as well.

I have found some really great recipes that I can’t get enough of. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be plain and boring. I have enjoy finding new ways to make meals healthy and it’s an extra win if my daughter eats them ( this doesn’t always happen because she’s picky and currently doesn’t enjoy eating 🤔).

If you are thinking of starting a healthy lifestyle by eating right and exercising regularly just do it. You’ll look and feel great!
