Apple Cider… Vinegar

Hey hey!! How’s your week going so far? Yesterday was a little off for me. I didn’t feel well rested and I was just grumpy. I hate days like that because I find I’m not patient with my littles at all.

Since the start of the new year I have added something new to my mornings. I was doing the 5 day detox with the Tone It Up Girls. If you haven’t tried their workouts or recipes go on YouTube and check it out. They are incredible!

One of the things to start the day off was drinking something called Morning Mocktail. Now I’ve heard for years how amazing Apple Cider Vinegar is for you. I had never tried it because it sounds and smells disgusting. Well I wanted to give the detox a fair shot ( I modified it a bit since I am still breastfeeding).

Alright so this Morning Mocktail is:

  • 8 oz of water
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar ( I did 1 since I had never tried it before. I still only do 1 because it’s very strong)
  • Half a lemon juice
  • Dash of cayenne pepper

Stir it up and drink on an empty stomach before breakfast!

The first time I tried it I struggled to drink it. But now I actually like it. It makes me feel amazing and energized. There are so many amazing benefits to drinking apple cider vinegar such as:

  • Helps maintain healthy alkaline pH level
  • Regulates blood sugar
  • Lowers blood pressure
  • Improves heart health
  • Helps digestion system
  • Weight loss
  • Strengthens immune system

There are many more benefits these are just a few.

If you are on the fence about trying it, just give it a go! Try it for a couple days to see how you feel. I was amazed at how it made me feel!
