Happy Monday night. Guess what? We made it to the end of the day hopefully it was a good day for you all! I get so excited for the end of the day where I can just sit down and relax for a little bit. My kids have been on a nap strike recently, which is part of the reason I haven’t posted in awhile. Oh man they get into everything and I don’t get to sit still for very long because of it. So evenings are my happy time, as I’m sure they are yours after a long day!
Today or tonight I thought I’d bring you a beautiful quote. It’s been awhile since I’ve done a motivational quote and this one really stood out to me.
Now a days everyone is comparing, criticizing and competing. Some believe that their opinions are greater than others and they make sure they know it. It’s a tough time for a lot of people especially with social media. Don’t get me wrong I love social media but it can really bring people down. They see gorgeous women and men and think to themselves “why can’t I have this” or “why can’t I look like that”. I truly believe that comparison is the thief of happiness. I am definitely guilty of comparing especially since I had my second baby. It’s tough not to. I always try and redirect my thoughts when the comparing thoughts occur.
We are all here trying to do the best we can with the cards that we’ve been dealt. It makes it more difficult when we feel the need to compete with any and everyone. We are all amazing in our own way, so don’t let anyone make you feel less.
One of my favorite sayings is ” no one can make you feel inferior without your consent”.
Remember your self worth and own it!
