Protein Bites

Happy Wednesday! Today is a great day! I might not have gotten a ton of sleep due to a 2 year old who thinks it’s fun to crawl out of his crib at 4:30am and then not go back to sleep, but today is me and my hubby’s 9 year wedding anniversary!! Woohoo we made it nine years (insert crazy dance moves)!!

Well besides my excitement for today I have another recipe coming at ya! It’s a total win snack cause everyone loves them and gobbles them all up! I love making protein balls because they are quick and easy to make, they are a perfect snack or treat, and everyone loves them. Plus you can change up the ingredients to try different kinds!

For this recipe you’ll need:

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1/2 cup Peanut butter or any nut butter
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • Chia seeds
  • Dark choc chips
  • Cinnamon
  • Shredded coconut (optional)

Grab a mixing bowl and mix your honey and peanut butter together. Then add your cinnamon and chia seeds and mix. Once that’s all mixed add your adds and stir it up. Next up is adding your dark chocolate chips.

Once your mixture is made either use a spoon or your hands and roll them into a ball. After all the bites are made stick them in the fridge to set.

All that’s left is eating and enjoying your delicious treat!
