Bring on the Avocado

Today is National Guacamole Day so I thought it would be appropriate to write about avocados. For those of you who don’t know, I love avocados. Actually, its more like I have an addiction or obsession with avocados. They are just so delicious and you can add them to your favorite dishes.

One of my favorite ways to eat avocados is making guacamole. I like mine to be a little spicy, but really I will eat it no matter what.

Recently I have been loving avocado toast. I have eaten every single morning for about a week. All I do is mash up my avocado spread it on toast and then sprinkle cayenne pepper on top. It is so delicious I can’t get enough.


Another one of my favorite ways to use avocado is in a smoothie. It makes the smoothie so creamy and delicious plus adds good fats to your diet. There are many recipes you can find to make avocado pudding, or even desserts. I love trying new ways to make my favorite desserts a little healthier, and substituting avocados is a great way.

I found a recipe on Pinterest and it was to take an egg and bake it inside of an avocado. It was so good that I made that for breakfast pretty much everyday for week.

I love to add avocado to my salads, or honestly I will just eat it all by itself. My daughter also loves eating avocado, anytime we have it in the house she always asks to eat it.
