Gratitude Challenge Day 2

Happy Tuesday! How’s your day so far? It’s only a little after 8 am so my day has just begun. I started my morning off by bringing our puppy outside and getting to breathe in fresh air without little ones shouting at me.

I am excited that today is Day 2 of our challenge! How’s it going for you?

Today I am grateful for:

  1. Sleep! I normally get woken up multiple times a night by one or both kids. With this last weekend of the kids being sick I didn’t have much sleep at all. The last 2 nights I’ve gotten amazing sleep. I wake up feeling very refreshed and ready to tackle the day! Sleep really does this mama some good.

2. Smoothies! I love smoothies and it’s the best way to sneak in lots of veggies. They taste so good and very filling. I make them all the time and love that my kids will drink them. My daughter doesn’t like smoothies as much as my son so when they ask for a smoothie I always make them for them!

3. Going on walks with my kids. I love being able to get outside and go for walks. It’s fun to find new places to walk and check out. Walking is one of my favorite forms of working out, you get to move your whole body and feel amazing. I also like the benefits walks have on your mind. When I’m feeling frustrated or overwhelmed I like getting outside and going for any length of walk.
